Formation and Early Years

The Aquabats continued releasing music throughout the 2000s and 2010s, including projects such as Myths, Legends and Other Amazing Adventures, Vol. 2, Charge!!, Hi-Five Soup!, and later Kooky Spooky…In Stereo! The Aquabats! Super Show!

A major milestone arrived in 2012, when The Aquabats debuted The Aquabats! Super Show! on the Hub Network. The live-action musical action-comedy series followed the fictional superhero adventures of the band and combined music, comedy, colorful characters, monsters, and action. The series ran for two seasons and received multiple Daytime Emmy nominations, including a win.

Connection With a New Generation

The anniversary events featured songs selected by their longtime fans and brought together members and supporters from different periods of the band’s history.

The current core lineup includes Christian Jacobs as “The MC Bat Commander” on lead vocals, Chad Larson as “Crash McLarson” on bass and vocals, Ian Fowles as “Eaglebones Falconhawk” on guitar, Richard Falomir as “Ricky Fitness” on drums, and James Briggs as “Jimmy the Robot” on keyboards, woodwinds, and vocals.
